Remodelling and restoring a large scale garden

The Project

We undertook some initial landscape works at a large garden in Liverpool. It was overgrown and not performing at its best. We met with the client to understand the user requirements. After considering the condition of the soft landscaping we made some suggestions as to what to retain and what not to retain. We prepared a schedule which formed part of an agreement of services which outlined proposed works and what would be happening and when.

This is a long-term project to bring the garden back up to optimum condition and is done so by the Gardens by Peter Lloyd team undertaking regular visits to undertake the designated horticultural work at the right time in accordance with the agreement of services.

Meeting

The project started with a meeting between the GPL team, and the site manager & management agent on the client side; where we concentrated on current problems, for example the garden being overgrown and not performing at its best.

Vision

The vision for this project was to strip back areas of the existing landscaping and add new planters. It was also vital that we made our horticultural decisions based on moving plants at the right time of year.

Schedule
